On June 8, 1915 THE SUFFRAGE TORCH went on a Statewide campaign led by the Women’s Political Union from Montauk Point Lighthouse to Buffalo, arriving on July 27, 1915. Mrs. Harriet Stanton Blatch, President of the Union, held a mass meeting on July 31, 1915 with the Torch at her side.

Join us on Sunday April 11, 2021 as we retrace the event from Montauk Point Lighthouse to Battery Park. Experience true History at its finest by participating in the festivities and honoring the women who “got the vote” in New York State on November 6, 1917. More information will be available soon at
