New Suffrage Exhibit Opens January 29th at NY Society Library

The New York Society Library will host  an exhibit celebrating the woman suffrage movement at its location at 53 E.79th Street in New York City, from January 29th to August 30, 2019, featuring Long Island suffragists Rosalie Gardner Jones and Eunice Brannon.

The opening reception on Tuesday, January 29 at 6pm will feature our good friend Brooke Kroeger, author of The Suffragents: How Women Used Men to Get the Vote, which won the Gold Medal in U.S. History in the 2018 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Ms. Kroeger is a professor at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
