The weekend of July 15-16 promises to be a busy one for suffragist enthusiasts.
Sunday, July 16 there will be a Celebration of the life of Mary Louise Booth, suffragist from Yaphank, NY. (Mary Louise Booth was our Suffragist of the Month, April 2014.) If you are traveling in the Seneca Falls, New York area you might want to stop in and join the celebration honoring the First Women’s Rights Convention, held July 14-16. Colin Jenkins, great-granddaughter of Elizabeth Cady Stanton will be there to led a procession, and help with the festivities.
