Second Annual Suffrage Centennial Conference

The New York Cultural Heritage Tourism Network is holding another conference in Seneca Falls, Friday, October 7, 2016 to discuss plans for celebrating next year’s centennial of NY women winning the vote. Last  year’s conference was a huge success; this year the keynote speaker is Lieutenant Governor and Chair of the New York State Woman Suffrage 100th Anniversary Commemoration Commission, Kathy Hochul. Other speakers will include Sally Roesch Wagner, Executive Director of the Matilda Josly Gage Center, and Michael Barnett, Margaret Fuller expert.

There will be a pre-conference program Thursday, October 6 offering tours of the historic sites, including the Harriet Tubman home, and the National Women’s Hall of Fame.
